Neil Weaver, Founder of ABA Water Systems Passes Away

EDM Today Magazine is saddened to share the news of the passing of Neil Weaver, founder of ABA Water Systems in Plainview, Minnesota. Neil passed away on Sunday, June 22, at the Green Prairie Rehabilitation Center in Plainview.

 

He was born in 1934 in Hancock County, Ohio, and was a graduate of Alma College in Alma, Michigan. In 1962, he married Darre Dee France (“Dar”) in Cheboygan, Michigan. In 1973, the Weavers moved to Minnesota, where Neil co-founded Lindsay Soft Water with Don Lee. In 1974, the Weavers moved to Plainview and founded ABA Water Systems.

 

The memorial service for Neil will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 26, at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church of Plainview/Elgin, with Pastor Krista Henning-Ferkin and Pastor Dick Hegal officiating. Friends and family may visit from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 25, at Schleicher Funeral Homes, Plainview Chapel, and one hour prior to the service at the church on Thursday. Memorials are preferred to Good Shepherd Lutheran Church.
