From an EDM perspective, expect to see new machining technologies that are focused on greater performance
and efficiency. Reduced Wire Consumption technologies that provide faster machining speeds without losing

accuracy are a major development trend for Wire EDM. For Sinker EDM, specific technologies using Graphite

Electrode materials that yield faster machining speeds with lower electrode wear will be highlighted. EDM Drilling
machines, ranging from basic toolroom support machines to more complex high-volume production models,
will be on display. Several different Machine Automation methods will also be demonstrated, which are targeted
to address workforce shortfalls and boost machine utilization.

If you're attending the show for the first time, make sure to bring your most comfortable pair of shoes because

you will be doing a lot of walking. Wearing comfortable shoes will make it much easier on your feet, and they

SY-4060 High-Speed CNC EDM Drill will demonstrate unattended operation
with a 60 Electrode Magazine and 30 Die Guides with automation utilizing a
FANUC Collaborative Robot (Cobot) that will pick from a mixture of parts. The
Coaxial Flushing features, the SY-3040 CNC EDM Drill will perform EDM Milling
moving the X, Y, and W-Axes simultaneously based on special G-Code, and the
SY-3040ST CNC will EDM Drill carbide utilizing Iono Plus 3000 ET dielectric
oil by oelheld. Lastly, the MX-236CW ZNC Sinker EDM will feature simulated

CHMER was founded in 1975 to produce Die Sinker EDM. The product lines
are sinkers, wire cuts, driller EDM, and the newest product of laser cutting
machine in the non-traditional machining market. Technology is the core of
CHMER. Our R&D division specializes in mechanical, electrical, mechanics,
and software sections.

Established in 1992 with the goal of building the most reliable, cost-effective,
and technically advanced EDM Drilling machines. Today, we feature a wide range
of manual and CNC machines with part weight capacities up to 10,000 lbs.
