As with the M800 control, DXF or IGES fi les can be
imported for direct creation of toolpaths. The PC
version also supports full graphical verifi cation to
check the toolpath. Best of all, there is no learning
curve for existing 2D CAM users.
Of course, many shops already use third-party
CAD/CAM packages. The M800 control is
compatible with all major software packages,
giving users the fl exibility to program at the

The worktable is stationary, while the head moves on
the column, allowing for greater workpiece weight
capacity and more responsive motion.
Like the MV4800-ST, the SG70 uses the latest M800 CNC control,
which includes Mitsubishi’s Maisart AI technology. Maisart is
comprised of three technologies: Deep Learning, Generative AI,

and Big Data Analysis.
With a connection to Mitsubishi’s cloud-based remote 360
monitoring, productivity can be improved by up to 30%, while
machining time can be reduced by as much as 25%. Maisart
also helps prevent costly maintenance issues and downtime.

cavity geometry, ensuring the fastest possible cutting time.
Wear is reduced in part through the use of a smart
high-speed jump. With a 15 m/min jump speed at 1.0G
acceleration, the cavity remains clean by removing
particulate buildup that would otherwise slow the cut
and increase electrode wear.
The large 19” display presents all machining information in
an intuitive, tab-organized format. In addition to a full-size
keyboard and mouse, the touchscreen supports swipe, SG70 Control Screen
