Refer to Figure 1 for a typical pump contactor and overload. If your incoming voltage
is only slightly low, you may be able to simply increase the setting just slightly on the
overload. The overload in the picture (lower left corner) is set to approximately 5.4
amps. You can safely adjust this to 5.75 and see if this corrects the problem. This
solution only applies to a confi rmed low incoming voltage. If your incoming voltage
is consistently 200 or even a bit lower (as would be the case in a 208 3-phase power
source), then a transformer is required.

Q: We have a CHMER CNC EDM Sinker, and our
operator is on vacation. We are trying to run a
3-point center-fi nd, and the machine travels in the
opposite direction that is needed. Please send
corrective action.
First, press F8 “FILE OP.”

A new screen will open, press F1 “PLC1.”

Another screen will open, use the + or – keys to
switch ON (inch) to OFF (metric). Your 3-point
center-fi nd should work without issue.
