Neal Otten Retirement
Neal Otten is retiring after almost
13 years with Carl Hirschmann.

Neal is an industry veteran. He is a
certifi ed Tool & Die maker and an
his long career, he has worked for several major OEMs and dealers. While
at Carl Hirschmann, Neal had a large territory, responsible for sales in
Illinois, Michigan, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa, Missouri, North and South
Dakota, Nebraska, and Kansas.
Customers and co-workers alike will always remember Neal for his hard
work, professionalism, and signature catchphrases, such as “I am old
school” and “rock on.” Max Golter, Carl Hirschmann Inc. President and
CEO stated this of Neal, “Neal is known throughout the industry as a veteran expert in machining, especially with

EDM applications. We have been blessed to have him on board over the past 12.5 years. Friends in the industry and
colleagues have the highest regard for Neal as a mentor and consultant. He has always been eager to help any of our
team members when asked. We wish Neal and his family well as Neal transitions from the workforce to retired life on
February 28. Cheers, Fore, and Rock On Neal!”

In retirement, Neal will spend more time playing his electric guitars and enjoying music, maintaining a healthy life-
style, road trips with his wife, spending more time with his adult children, playing more golf, watching more White Sox
baseball, and attending as many Indianapolis 500 races as possible (41 and counting). EDM Today wishes Neal a
great retirement. He has certainly earned it!
